TOGETHER Cancer Support Group Program

The TOGETHER Cancer Support Group is for cancer patients (including all types of cancer) and their families. The Foundation provides a support group newsletter, a resource library of cancer-related materials, and the TOGETHER Cancer Resource Guide. This program is free and open to the public. The support group meets the third Tuesday every month in the Brookwood Medical Center Executive Board Room with lunch provided. Park in the Cancer Center Parking Lot, take the elevator to the 2nd floor, take a right out of the elevator and immediately go left, the meeting room is between the pillars. The group is facilitated by professional counselors or clergy. Educating patients and family members about cancer is an important aspect of this program, as well as providing a supportive environment to share feelings and learn coping skills.

The regular meeting of our Support Group is at 11 am on the third Tuesday of each month in the Brookwood Medical Center 2^nd Executive Board Room. This meeting is facilitated by Chaplain Duke Martin. Lunch is provided, and there is free parking. Patients and family members are welcome.
